Medicine + Education = Meducation
Meducation Community Outreach Programs, which bring the power of medicine and education together, are a series of culturally relevant, community centered outreach events, which includes seminars, presentations and other hands-on, interactive programs with the goal of increasing public awareness and an understanding of how to improve and sustain overall heart health wellness.
Together, they are designed to engage underserved Philadelphia area residents within community centers, faith-based organizations, health fairs and corporations. Our partnerships with the American Heart Association, Boston Scientific and Temple University extend the reach of our programs, focusing on these key areas, as well as promoting the concept of overall self-health. When implemented properly, Meducation benefits both the medical community and the members of communities it serves.
